#Warriorwellnessbaskets 2021

Continuing our favorite annual tradition, spreading the joy of spring with our friends at Siena House Shelter on Easter Morning!

To help the courageous women, their adorable babies and the tireless dedicated staff that cares for them celebrate joy, hope, new beginnings as well as the dignity of every human person, The Imagine Society is grateful to all of your generous donations that allowed us to create these handmade baskets filled with lovely things for the third Spring in a row and the SECOND during the pandemic.

Teen Leaders Alessia and Sabrina Turner put together gorgeous Easter baskets for the staff, filled with Easter treats including the traditional “L’uova di Pasqua” which are chocolate Easter eggs-each wrapped and containing an Easter surprise. We also included authentic Italian pannetone cakes donated by D Coluccio and Sons in Brooklyn, thank you!

Thank you also to all of our pre-teen, teen and adult volunteers that took such great care in selecting products, designing cards (main design by Dash Hall) and hand crafting each card as its own work of art, to Gigi Fitzpatrick & the Old Cathedral Family Religious Education program the Warrior Youth NYC for the inspired Easter messages, Foster Schrader for the nod to passover with the delicious macaroons, and of course to the incomparable Danielle Blumstein for donating so many enchanting items for the baskets.

Things were very different this year, but that didn’t stop this annual act of love. The Saint Patrick’s Warriors’ delivered 27 beautiful gift baskets to the Siena House Shelter in the Bronx for the mothers and babies experiencing homelessness. All the items were purchased on the Warriors’s Amazon baby registry by caring and loving people who responded to the campaign on Instagram. It was a challenge to complete this mission with all members under the under the “Shelter in Place” order, but these amazing kids, separate but together, managed, assembled and delivered these beautiful and vital baskets the night before Easter to give Siena House a spectacular surprise in the morning. All of this while sanitizing and social distancing. The Warriors would like to thank the thoughtful and generous donors who bought items on the registry, and great job to the Warriors on a terrific Instagram campaign @WarriorYouthNYC!
